I’m an independent designer with nine years of experience in web design and four years working in consulting. Throughout my consulting career, I’ve offered tailored digital solutions, including client portals, databases, project management systems, and resource management platforms.
Arnya Digital specialises in secure, bespoke, and story-driven WordPress sites, with tailored digital solutions built around each client’s needs. I only take on a limited number of clients at a time to ensure you receive high-quality and personalised service.
Based in Cape York, I am an Indigenous designer with a Bachelor of Business and a background in research and policy. Do you require a deposit?
Yes. For upfront payment packages, a 10% deposit is required to secure your booking. For 12-month payment plans, a retainer of $900 is required at the start of the project. This covers your commitment to the project and ensures your website is hosted securely for the first 12 months.
How long does it take to build?
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the project.
- Simple one-page websites: around 1–2 weeks. Times vary depending on complexity.
Some sites may require additional functionality which can take up to 4 weeks. - Standard and business websites: around 1–2 months.
- Premium or complex projects can take up to 3 months to complete
I’ll provide you with a tailored timeline as part of your quote so you know what to expect before we begin.
Will I own my website once it's complete?
Yes. You will always own your website, its content, and the custom design work I create for you.
If I use a commercial theme as the base, that theme remains under its own license (as is standard with professional web themes), but all of the setup, customisations, and branding I apply belong entirely to you. Stock photography, illustrations, or icons are also covered by their own licenses. If you provide your own images, you are responsible for making sure you hold the correct rights to use them.
For clients who want a fully bespoke solution, I also offer theme design and development from scratch. This is a premium service with tailored quotes provided on a case-by-case basis.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. I take care of all back-end maintenance (including security, software updates, and technical support) so you don’t need to worry about the behind the scenes management.
You’ll have access to the front end of your website, where you can:
- Adjust wording and images
- Add new blog posts or news items
- Update product details (if you have an online shop)
- Manage simple layout changes.
This way, you stay in control of your content, while I ensure the site runs smoothly and securely in the background.
Can you help me with copywriting and content creation?
Yes. Writing website content can feel overwhelming, which is why I offer complete copywriting, photography, and content creation support. This includes crafting clear, engaging wording that reflects your brand, sourcing or producing professional images, and developing blog posts or product descriptions.
I also have professional photography and videography equipment, green screens, microphones, and editing software, so whether you need polished visuals, branded videos, or voiceovers, I can deliver high-quality content tailored to your business.
Beyond design, I can support your marketing with email campaigns, social media graphics, and digital templates. I’ll guide you on how to use your website effectively as a marketing tool so it works seamlessly with your broader business goals.
To make things easier, I can also develop a library of templates for ongoing use, whether that’s branded social media posts or printed assets, so you always have professional, consistent designs ready to go. My goal is simple: to make sure your website doesn’t just look great, but also helps you connect with the right audience and grow your business long term.
What happens after my website launches?
Your website launch is just the beginning. I’ll provide training so you can confidently make updates on your own, and I also offer hosting, maintenance, and care plans if you’d prefer me to handle the technical side.
Every site I build is custom-designed around your business goals, with clean code, SEO best practices, accessibility, and a strong focus on user experience. While I may use themes or frameworks for functionality, the end result is always tailored to your brand and audience, never cookie-cutter.
I also intentionally limit the number of clients I take on, so you receive personal support and a website that continues to grow with your business.
